Dario Santangelo earned three letters for coach Scott Runkel at Bishop George Ahr High School where helped the Trojans to a 14-7 record as a senior.

The right-hander from Edison, N.J. started 9 of 13 games on the bump posting an 8-1 record with one save. He earned all-state and all-conference honors after recording 87 strikeouts in 54.0 innings where he sported an impressive 1.37 ERA.

After a productive junior campaign, where he was 8-2 on the mound, Santangelo picked up Honorable Mention All-America honors from the Perfect Game. He fanned 65 batters in 50.0 innings of work, while holding opposing hitters to a .189 batting average.

12.   My most exciting moment in sports was when: I threw a no-hitter

13.   My most prized possession is: A Reggie Jackson signed baseball

14.   My worst fear is: Fire

15.   If I could play a musical instrument it would be: The piano

Seniors Trent Whitehead (No. 44) and Seth Maness (No. 48) were ranked among the Top-50 seniors by Baseball America.
