Football Meeting Rooms

In addition to the sweat and blood which splashes the surface of the Cliff Moore Practice Facility on a daily basis, there is another equally vital element in the Pirates' preparation needs that are conducted every day in a different location adjacent to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium not visible to many ... a state-of-the-art football meeting room complex which opens in earnest this fall on the first floor of the Ward Sports Medicine Building.

The project, completed during the summer months of 2006 with a price-tag of nearly $800,000, features eight meeting rooms which are all wired and furnished with the latest of video and computer equipment from XOS Technologies and drop-down display screens. The breakdown of the complex includes one team meeting room (107 permanent embroidered "Pirate-logoed" theatre-style seats), one unit room (55 seats) and six positional break-out rooms (12-15 seats).
