ECUPirates.com Launches Spring Update For Mobile Applications
March 20, 2012 GREENVILLE, N.C. - ECUPirates.com has now introduced an updated mobile experience for Pirates fans with iPhone, Blackberry and Android devices. The official mobile application of East Carolina athletics offers iPhone, Blackberry and Android owners easy and instant access to up-to-the-minute news, scores, live game play-by-play, stats, schedules, rosters and photo galleries for the 2011-12 school year. The mobile application is free to download from the iPhone App Store, Blackberry App World or Android Market. Users can also enhance their experience by purchasing access to live audio broadcasts within the app. The application provides smartphone owners an interface that gives them immediate mobile access to essential information from ECUPirates.com, the official athletic web site of ECU athletics. Fans no longer have to wait until they have access to a computer or television to keep up with their favorite Pirates sport. Fans can get access to live audio broadcasts with a paid in-application upgrade. The live audio upgrade costs $0.99 per month for iPhone users and $4.99 per year for Android users.
