GREENVILLE, N.C. --- The eighth-annual "Ride With The Voice" motorcycle excursion will roll on Sept. 17 with all proceeds benefiting the Heather Anne Purtee Memorial Scholarship at the East Carolina University School of Nursing.

The reverse Texas Hold-em motorcycle poker run, hosted by "Voice of the Pirates" Jeff Charles will commence at 10 a.m. at Ron Ayers Motorsports in Greenville. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The cost of the ride is $10 per hand and multiple hands are welcome.

Stops include Frank's Pizza in Washington, East Carolina Trophy in Winterville, Hastings Ford and U.B.E/Pirate Radio in Greenville.

Complimentary breakfast from Krispy Kreme and lunch from Domino's Pizza and Logan's Roadhouse will be provided. J&E Harley Davidson, PIP Printing, Marketing Matters and East Carolina Trophies and Signs are also co-sponsoring the event.
