GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina University Athletics Department will welcome and recognize members of all five branches of the United States Armed Forces to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium Saturday for Military Appreciation Day when the Pirates host UAB in a pivotal Conference USA contest.

The matchup between ECU (6-4, 5-1) and Blazers (5-5, 4-2), which is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff, will feature teams both vying for a C-USA East Division title.

A highlight of the afternoon will be a pre-game flyover by F-15E Strike Eagles based out of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

All active and retired service personnel attending the game are encouraged to utilize the remote parking lots at the Brody School of Medicine and take advantage of free shuttle service to and from the stadium with the display of a valid military identification card.
