Pirate Basketball On The Radio
Pirate Basketball may be heard throughout North Carolina as well as portions of South Carolina and Virginia via the Pirate IMG Radio Network.
Jeff Charles will begin his 29th year handling the play-by-play duties on the network after previously serving in the same capacity at Virginia Tech, Illinois, and Furman prior to becoming the "Voice of the Pirates."
The Piqua, Ohio, native also has a major market sports background, having worked at WSB-AM in Atlanta, where he served as sports director and the "Voice" of the Peach Bowl. His sports talk show could be heard throughout 38 stats and Canada on the 50,000-watt clear station. In addition to Charles' responsibilities at ECU, he works selected college basketball telecasts for Fox Sports Net South. He has twice been named the North Carolina Sportscaster-of-the-Year.
He and his wife, Debby, reside in Greenville.
Joining Charles for his 18th season on the broadcast is Si Seymour. The Elizabeth City native served as head basketball coach at Craven Community College in New Bern for 17 years and was four times named Region X Coach of the Year. An East Carolina graduate, Seymour resides in New Bern with wife, Vanita.
The Jeff Lebo Radio Call-In Show
The Jeff Lebo Radio Call-In Show hosted by "Voice of the Pirates" Jeff Charles with Coach Lebo originates live each Monday night from Logan's Roadhouse on Greenville Blvd. in Greenville. The show airs weekly from 7-8 p.m. with the coach fielding questions from both callers and members of the audience.

ECU Head Coach Jeff Lebo and "Voice of the Pirates" Jeff Charles tape a 30-minute weekly television show that takes viewers inside Pirate basketball.
The Jeff Lebo Show airs each Sunday on WNCT at 11:30 a.m. The show also airs Sundays at 5 p.m. on WAUG in Raleigh and in front of a regional audience on MASN beginning a 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. It may also be seen Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Suddenlink Cable Channel 25 in Greenville and Rocky Mount.
