Casting Call for UNDAUNTED Campaign Materials
August 05, 2016 | General
GREENVILLE, N.C. – As announced by ECU Department of Athletics in April, the 2016-17 UNDAUNTED campaign will honor, recognize and celebrate those who make up Pirate Nation in a number of ways throughout the athletic seasons. Examples of that central theme have already been seen in schedule posters, billboards, advertisements, and in the design of the football season tickets, which will soon be mailed.
The next opportunity for fans to participate in the campaign will be in a video and photo casting call on Saturday, Aug. 13 during the 22nd Annual Meet the Pirates event. The event runs from 6-8 p.m., with stadium gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Fans interested in participating should come dressed in their best or favorite Pirate gear (no old logos please); they can bring pirate-themed props or flags; and should be ready to answer the following questions on camera:

- What does UNDAUNTED mean to you?
- Do you have any UNDAUNTED moments in your (personal) life you can share?
- Can you recall an UNDAUNTED moment as a Pirate fan?
- What is your favorite moment ever from an ECU Athletic event?
The footage from this casting call will be assembled to make the new departmental UNDAUNTED video and will be debuted at the first home football game on Sept. 3. Additionally, video footage and photos taken may be used in other forms of advertisements (i.e. TV commercials, print ads, social media) to promote upcoming home events throughout the year.
Interested participants should make their way to the Pirate Skull located in the west endzone in front of the Murphy Center during Meet the Pirates on the 13th. Any questions in advance should be directed to Greg Herring, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Engagement, at herringg@ecu.edu .
