Men’s Tennis Impressive at UNCG Fall Tournament

Greensboro, N.C. – The ECU men's tennis team continued its fall season at the UNCG Fall Tournament this weekend. The Pirates faced off against opponents from UNCG, Furman, Elon and UNC Asheville.

ECU's doubles pair Will Bissett and Javier Renones went undefeated on the weekend while Renones, Bissett, Kasey Countee, Ronny Georgi and Freddie McGeehan all were perfect in singles matchups.

Heinchon's Thoughts
"Solid stuff for us this past weekend. When you combine the singles and doubles we ended winning 22 of the 26 matches we played in. Even for me there's not a lot to complain about with those overall results. UNCG did a great job hosting the tournament and all of our guys got a ton of matches in. We have a couple more weeks of fall practice that we need to take advantage of as we get ready for our last fall event at Wake Forest."
