Volleyball To Hold Purple-Gold Scrimmage Aug. 22

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Pirate fans will get their first look at the 2017 East Carolina volleyball team Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 5:30 p.m. when the squad holds its Purple-Gold Scrimmage inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. Admission to the event is free.

The Pirates will play 18 matches at home this season. ECU finished the 2016 campaign with a 15-15 record, including a 5-15 mark in American Athletic Conference play. It was the first non-losing season for the Purple and Gold since 2006.

Season tickets are currently on sale for the 2017 season. Single-game tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for youth (12 and under). Group tickets are available for groups of 20 or more at $2 per ticket.

The Fall Sports Book contains 20 ticket vouchers that are valid at any ECU soccer or volleyball home match this season. Fall Books cost $40 and can be used throughout the season or to take a group to one event.
