February 12, 2018 | Baseball
GREENVILLE, N.C. – As ECU turns the page to another baseball season, the athletics department would like to make the fans aware of some changes and new things coming to Lewis Field at Clark-LeClair Stadium.
1. Gate 5 & 6 Entrances – due to construction of the new hitting facility down the first base line, both Gates 5 & 6 will be closed for the 2018 season.
2. Parking Lots – due to the Southside Renovation project, the Purple, White and Media parking lots will not be available for 2018. Fans who normally park in these areas have been relocated. Stratford Arms parking lot has become a Pirate Club donor and Media lot due to the construction to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.Â
3. Public Parking Lot – are available in the Carol Belk Building parking lot for the 2018 season (current map attached). When softball and baseball are playing on the same day, fans are encouraged to park at the Carol Belk Building as the Clark-LeClair and Stratford Arms parking lots will be closed to the public unless you have the appropriate pass.
4. Handicap Parking – normally located in the Purple Lot, these spots have been relocated to the Stratford Arms parking lot. However, shuttle service to the stadium will still be available. A handicap hang tag or license plate is required to park in these spots.
5. New Cameras – three new cameras have been installed (one in each dugout and one in centerfield) to enhance our live stream production.
6. Videoboard – Instant replay and live footage will be available on ECU's videoboard this year.
7. Dollar Dog Days – is back, but will be moving to all Sunday games.
8. Game Programs – fans wishing to purchase baseball game programs can do so for just $1 and will be available at the main concession stand and both end plaza locations on the upper concourse (1st and 3rd base line).
