Soccer Adds Nine Student-Athletes For 2018 Campaign

GREENVILLE, N.C. – First-year ECU soccer head coach Jason Hamilton has secured commitments from nine student-athletes to join the program for the upcoming 2018 season. The group consists of four defenders, two midfielders, two forwards and a goalkeeper.

Erin Blevins • Midfield • 5-8 • Lewisville, N.C. • West Forsyth High School

A four-year starter for head coach Scott Bilton at West Forsyth.
Has helped the Titans to a 66-7 overall record in three seasons on the varsity squad.
As a junior in 2017, scored 26 goals and tallied 23 assists as West Forsyth won the 4A state championship.
Has garnered three all-conference selections, two all-region nods and an all-state honor.
Owns 39 goals and 41 assists thus far in her prep career.
Also competes for the USSDA U19 girls team with the Charlotte Soccer Academy.

Grace Densmore • Midfield • 5-4 • Raleigh, N.C. • Sanderson High School

A four-year starter for head coach Todd Worley at Sanderson High School.
Has scored 19 goals and notched 12 assists in three seasons.
Named to the all-conference and all-region first team as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
Competes for the 99/00 North Carolina Football Club Youth ECNL team that is ranked No. 2 in North Carolina and No. 76 nationally.
Has earned a three-star Top Drawer Soccer ranking as well as IMG top 150 recruit designation (2014-current).

Reilyn Gaglione • Defense • 5-7 • Cary, N.C. • Cary High School

A four-year starter for head coach Laura Kerrigan at Cary High School.
Also competes for the TFCA 00' Alliance and NCFC 00' Elite clubs.
Has won numerous state and regional titles as well as qualified for Nationals.

Kathrynn Gonzalez • Forward • 5-4 • Pocono Summit, Pa. • Pocono Mountain West High School

Scored a school-record 84 goals in four seasons as well as notching 22 assists.
A four-year starter for head coach Dave Lawrence at Pocono Mountain West High School.
2016 EPC League First Team All Star Award Forward.
Recipient of the 2016 All State Team Award.
2016 Pocono Record Girl Soccer Player of the Year.
2014 and 2016 ODP Region I Team.
2009-11 Philadelphia Union Junior Select Team.

Lauren Hollis • Defense • 5-7 • Jacksonville, Fla. • Creekside High School

A four-year varsity starter for head coach Brent Johnson at Creekside High School
Helped the Knights reach the championship match of the state tournament for the first time in school history in 2017.
Has won two district titles and a regional championship with Creekside.
Also competed for the Florida Elite Soccer Academy ECNL club that won its league from 2014-17 and won the 2015 Disney Showcase.

Carmel Oliveira • Midfield • 5-3 • Orlando, Fla. • Dr. Phillips High School

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
A four-year starter for head coach Donald George at Dr. Phillips High School.
Has helped the Panthers to a 58-18-2 record in three seasons.
Named Player of the Year as a senior as she led Dr. Phillips to a 17-2-1 record and a metro championship for the first time in 32 years.
Also competes for the Jacksonville Armada.

Hayleigh Pack • Goalkeeper • 5-6 • Raleigh, N.C. • Millbrook High School

Played three years of varsity soccer under head coach Matt Edwards at Millbrook High School before focusing on academy soccer her senior season.
Posted a school single-season record 10 shutouts as a sophomore on the way to all-conference and team MVP honors as the Wildcats were CAP 8 co-conference champions.
Earned the team defensive MVP award as a junior and notched seven shutouts, leading Millbrook to the third round of the state playoffs.
Competes for the U19 NC Courage GDA and North Carolina FC
Club accomplishments: 2016 ODP National Championship, 2014-15 U.S. Market Training Centers, 2014 U.S. id2 Training Camp, 2013 ODP Region III Camp, 2012 ODP Sub Regional Event and CASL Hamilton Sportsmanship Award.

Taylor Platt • Defense • 5-4 • Exton, Pa. • Downington East High School

A four-year starter for head coach Craig Reed at Downington High School.
Led the Cougars to a four-year overall record of 53-19-8.
Paced the squad with 14 goals and 16 assists as senior, earning ChesMont League Player of the Year honors as well as Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association All-State, first-team all-league, first-team all-area and First Team All Southeastern Pa. honors.
Helped guide Downington to an 18-5-1 overall record as a junior as the Cougars finished in the top 16 in the state among 4A schools.
Garnered first-team all-league, first-team all-area and Second-Team All-Southeastern Pa. accolades her junior campaign.
Competed with the Penn Fusion Club along with fellow ECU commit Kathrynn Gonzalez, helping the team qualify for the 2016 National ECNL Playoffs Champions League.

Kennedy Temple • Defense • 5-8 • Greenville, S.C. • J.L. Mann High School

Played two years of varsity soccer for head coach Steve Georgopoulos at J.L. Mann High School
Helped lead the Patriots to their first-ever state championship as a freshman as the team went 27-1-2.
Named Defensive Player of the Year both her freshman and sophomore seasons.
Earned all-region honors as a sophomore.
Also competed for the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy and was a team captain her senior year.
