"I thought both teams competed very well overall," Director of Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Curt Kraft said. "It was great to get outdoors and get the outdoor season kicked off. This weekend gave us a great measuring stick to see what we have to work on moving forward. As always, there is a transition from moving from the indoor season to the outdoor season. The number one element is obviously the weather. The kids have to understand that they have to compete in all kinds of weather conditions. We have to get back to work on Monday and get ready for the Raleigh relays."
