East Carolina Athletics is excited to offer new avenues to provide its fans with the most up-to-date information possible via the latest social media platforms, including an iPhone application, a You Tube channel, an official Facebook page and Twitter feeds to keep fans informed about ECU sports, teams and student-athletes.

We know the Pirate Nation extends well past the eastern part of North Carolina but we need you to help us prove it as part of our 100 Counties, One State, One Pirate Nation project. Send us your best photos based on the following categories: the first fan from each county to submit a picture, the most purple and gold incorporation, the best Pirate-themed background, the oldest fan and the youngest fan.


Video will be uploaded on the official ECU Athletics You Tube channel ECUAthletics periodically.

Twitter is a real-time short messaging service where people follow sources most relevant to them. East Carolina athletics will off Twitter pages so that fans can receive updates during events and get behind the scenes information all year long. Simply just set up your own Twitter page using an email address and creating a username and follow your favorite teams.
