28th Annual Purple/Gold Pigskin Pig-Out Party
The Pigskin Pig-Out is proudly sponsored by Trade-Wilco Hess with additional support from The Daily Reflector. The Pigskin Pig-Out will be held the weekend of April 15-16, 2011. This year will again feature the Pig Cookin' Contest, live music and entertainment, BBQ plates, kids' games, the Purple/Gold spring football game and more! The annual event will also showcase a home weekend series for Pirate Baseball!

Proceeds from the Pig-Out benefit student athletes through the ECU Educational Foundation, better known as the Pirate Club.

  • Parking Information
All parking will be on a single-space, first-come first-serve basis in the gold, blue, lower Minges parking lots. Baseball parking pass policies will be in effect for the White and Clark-LeClair lots throughout the weekend. There is no charge for parking to enjoy the inflatables, live entertainment, autograph and photo sessions.

NOTE: A change to this year's activities will be the discontinuation of the carnival and fireworks on Friday night. In addition to stringent modifications to North Carolina law regarding the use of pyrotechnics, ongoing construction of East Carolina's Olympic Sports Complex has made space, previously used for those events, unavailable.
