2014: Redshirted as a true freshman in the Pirate program … Contributed efforts on the offensive scout team to help prepare defensive line during game week … Signed with ECU in February.
High School: Starred as the Seminole’s starting tackle as a senior for coach Jarrod Hickman … Also experienced action as a tight end, recording a pair of catches for 12 yards to help FSHS to an 8-5 record in 2013 … Rated among the Top 140 offensive tackle prospects nationally … Reportedly turned in a time of 5.49 in the 40-yard dash, a 4.97 clip in the 20-yard shuttle, a 21.6” vertical jump, a power throw of 33.5 and a SPARQ rating of 54.57 according to ESPN.com … Committed to ECU on Dec. 6 prior to the Pirates’ trip to the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl … Had early aspirations of possibly being a two-sport athlete at ECU (baseball) … Said game-day atmosphere and environment at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium played a critical role in decision to attend ECU.
