ECU men improve to 6-1, while the women move to 7-1
The 2014-15 season marks Mike Jolly's first as an assistant coach at his alma mater after spending the summer as the coach at the Tanterra Swim Club in Olney, Md. He was also a member of the coaching staff for Hydro-Sonic Tiburones in Rockville, Md.
During his tenure with the Tanterra Swim Club he set lineups, conducted practices and guided it to second in its division. He also organized swim clinics and gave private lessons to help swimmers improve their skills and techniques. He also spent time as the head coach of Seven Locks Pool during the summer of 2011 and '12.
Jolly was a four-year letterman at East Carolina from 2009-13. He finished his career with the fifth-fastest 200-yard backstroke time in school history. He was also a four-time Conference USA Championship meet participant. Jolly earned his bachelor's degree in recreation and leisure studies.
