Stewart Sets Record At SC Nationals
Dec. 4, 2010 COLUMBUS, Ohio --- Senior Jenna Stewart posted an ECU record time of 22.72 in the 50-yard freestyle preliminaries at the 2010 AT&T Short Course National Championships at Ohio State's Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatics Pavilion. Stewart finished 10th in the championship event final with a time of 23.06. Her preliminary time was the 28th-fastest time posted in the 50 free this season in the nation. Kelsey Brosi. Thiago Cavalcanti, Anna Gibas and Andrew Stoker also participated in the championship event that featured the nation's top professional, collegiate and age group swimmers.
The Pirates will return to dual meet competition Jan. 1 against Loras College in Jupiter, Fla.
