High School: As a sophomore, captured first place at the Evergreen League Championships in the triple jump as well as fourth in the high jump at the WIAA 2A state championships ... In his junior season, took first in the high jump at the league meet as well as the title in the triple jump at the state meet ... Went undefeated in the triple jump as a senior, setting the school record in the process, while winning the league, district and state championships ...
