2010-11: Did not compete during the indoor season ... Turned in six performances in the javelin in the outdoor campaign, producing three top-five finishes ... Placed sixth in the javelin at the C-USA Outdoor Championships with a season-best throw of 41.02 meters. High School: Played volleyball, softball, and basketball all four years at East Rowan High School ... Varsity athlete in volleyball & softball for four years and varsity athlete in basketball for two seasons ... All-County and All-Conference honoree in volleyball for two campaigns as well as all-county & all-conference in softball for three years ... Named Rowan County softball Player-of-the-Year ... Served as captain of volleyball, softball and basketball squads ... Earned scholar athlete status all four years of prep career.
