ECU Continues Preparation for Conference USA Outdoor Championships

2010-11: Earned Second-Team All-America honors by finishing 10th in the 400-meter dash at the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... Is just the second female runner in school history to earn a place at the NCAA Outdoor Championships after Dava Rhodes competed in the 10,000-meter run in 1994 ... Also part of the first-ever female relay team (4x400) in the program annals to earn a bid to nationals as that group holds the school record at 3:35.75 ... Reached the semifinals and finished 13th overall in the 400 at the United States Outdoor Championships ... Captured second at the NCAA East Preliminary Round to earn a spot at the national meet ... Completed a sweep of the 400 indoor and outdoor C-USA titles, setting the meet record (54.15) at the indoor competition ... Holds the school record in the outdoor 200 and both indoor and outdoor 400-meter races.

High School: Is the reigning 4A North Carolina state runner up in the outdoor 400m and indoor 500m events ... Placed second in the open section of the 400-meter run at high school nationals ...
