ECU Continues Preparation for Conference USA Outdoor Championships

2010-11: Was part of the 4x400 relay squad which became the first female relay in program history to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... Helped the relay finish third at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships and sixth at the NCAA East Preliminary Round to book a spot in the national meet ... 4x400 relay tandem holds the school record at 3:35.75 ... Was also part of the 4x200 relay which owns the school record of 1:35.01 ... Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the 200-meter dash by running a 54.73 at the league outdoor meet ... Produced the top times for the Pirates in the 200 (24.54) and 300-meter dash events in the indoor season ... Her showing of 38.95 in the 300 at Virginia Tech stands as the school record.

High School: Named athlete of the year for the track squad her senior season ... Captured the state title in the 400-meter dash as well as second in the 200 and third in the 100, also during her senior campaign ... Helped Goose Creek win the 2010 state title in basketball.
