Pirates Set Two Program Records to Highlight Second Day's Action

2012-13 Track & Field: Did not compete in any indoor events.

2012-13 Cross Country: Competed in five of the team's seven meets...Ran a season and career-best 19:32.47 in finishing 13th in the 5K at the Seahawk Invitational...Earned 44th place at the Adidas XC Invitational...Ran a 20:19.01 to place 14th at the 5K ECU Pirate Invitational...Finished 75th (19:54.4) at the C-USA Championship to aid the Pirates to a third-place team finish...Placed ninth in her only 6K race of the season in the green race at the Charlotte Cross Country Invitational.

2011-12 Track & Field: Ran in the indoor 600-meter, 800-meter and 1,000-meter run...Posted a time of 1:39.17 in the 600-meter run at the SPIRE Invitational...Tallied a season-best time of 2:19.22 in the 800-meter run at the SPIRE Invitational...Recorded a time of 3:06.28 in the 1,000-meter run at the Virginia Tech Invite...Competed in the outdoor 800-meter, 1,500-meter, 3,000-meter and 3,000-meter steeplechase...Recorded a season-best time of 2:21.03 in the 800-meter run at Wake Forest...Notched a time of 5:05.19 at Wake Forest in the 1,500-meter run...Placed ninth at the Quad Meet in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:27.71...Earned a sixth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the C-USA Outdoor Championships with a time of 11:14.69.

2011-12 Cross Country: Participated in four of the team's seven meets...Came in 39th overall at the Covered Bridge Open with a 5K mark of 19:57.6...Helped the women to the ECU Pirate Invitational title with a personal-low 19:36.16 time in the 5K to place 11th...Posted a similar 5K time a week later at the Greater Louisville Classic, clocking out in 19:39.9 to finish 232nd...In career's second 6K, came in 78th at the Panorama Farms Invitational with a 25:28.90 mark.

2010-11 Track & Field: Was one of two Pirates to run the 3,000-meter steeplechase, taking seventh at the Quad Meet...Ran the middle distances for ECU during the indoor season.

2010-11 Cross Country: Participated in five meets during first season with East Carolina...Opened with a 20:37.00 5K and 84th-place showing at the Covered Bridge Open...Trimmed nearly three seconds off that time at the Wolfpack Invitational, coming in 48th (20:34.3)...Placed 13th at the ECU Pirate Invitational, helping the women claim the title with a 20:24.92 mark...In season's only 6K, finished the Panorama Farms Invitational in 25:19.44 to claim 61st place...Ran a season-best 19:06 5K and finished second overall at the Mount Olive Invitational, leading the women to the team championship.

High School: Four-time track most valuable player and three-time cross country MVP after not participating as a freshman...Qualified for the state cross country meet as a sophomore and junior and claimed the regional championship as a junior...Owns the school record in the 5K (19:05)...Four-time state meet participant in track...Macomb County champion in the 1,600 meters as a freshman, junior and senior...Coached by Gary and Joyce Christmann...Three-time track captain and leader of the cross country squad final two years...Also a four-year letterwinner in basketball and an all-county honorable mention selection in 2008 and 2009...Macomb Area Conference Sportsmanship Award winner as a sophomore and junior...Four-time cross country and basketball MAC All-Academic Team member.
