STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - With the 2010 Conference Indoor Championships just three weeks away, the East Carolina track and field teams built some momentum with strong showings at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup, hosted by Penn State this past weekend at the Ashenfelter Track. Three school records were broken, as two of the marks were set by newcomers. "This was a great meet to prepare us for the C-USA Indoor Championships," head coach Curt Kraft remarked. "The athletes were very excited about what they accomplished this past weekend. Anytime you set three school records in one weekend, you know you have accomplished something. We also produced many seasonal bests as well as personal records. We will continue to build towards doing well at the conference meet in three weeks."
