Pirates Turn In Strong Performances At Charlotte Cross Country Invitational

Women's team places sixth in gold race; Men's team finishes 17th in gold race

2011: Did not compete in any meets for ECU.

2010: Participated in five meets, turning in career-best times in the 5K and 6K ... Opened the year with the Wolfpack Invitational, coming in 51st with a 5K time of 20:50.8 ... Helped the women repeat as ECU Pirate Invitational champions by placing 12th and finishing the 5K in 19:54.11 ... Ran the 6K at the Panorama Farms Invitational in 23:36.26, good for 33rd ... Set a personal best in the 5K at the Conference USA Championship, clocking in at 19:01 to take 62nd overall ... Ended the campaign with a career-best 23:07.4 at the 6K NCAA Southeast Regional, making a 11-spot jump from last year by finishing 155th.

2009: Ran in all seven of the squad's races ... Teamed up with Lisa DeLorenzo to finish ninth with a time of 38:18.6 in the 4,800-meter relay at the Campbell Invitational ... Placed 15th at the Seahawk Invitational with a 5K time of 19:13.27 ... Helped the women claim the ECU Pirate Invitational title with a fifth-place showing and time of 19:29 in the 5K ... Took 26th place out of 119 runners with a season-best 5K time of 19:10 at the Great American Cross Country Festival ... In first career 6K, ran a 23:27, good for 123rd at the Penn State Nationals ... Finished 42nd at the C-USA Championship, clocking in at 20:01.2 in the 5K ... Finished the year placing 166th with a time of 23:36.52 in the 6K NCAA Southeast Regional.
