Kraft on McDonnell:
"Mo is great all-around athlete. She graduated from Green Hope with 16 Varsity letters (four in cross country, four in soccer, four in indoor track, and four in outdoor track) and was the News & Observer Co-Athlete of the Year. She was on five State Championship teams, won an individual State Championship in the 1,600-meter, and started for the No. 1 ranked soccer team in the nation. In cross country, she placed third, fourth, fifth, and 12th individually at the State Championships. Mo knows winning and she knows hard work. Being able to focus on running is going to allow her to take her considerable abilities to the next level. The biggest problem I'll have with her is finding out which event she does best."
