Pirates Turn In Strong Performances At Charlotte Cross Country Invitational

Women's team places sixth in gold race; Men's team finishes 17th in gold race

2011: Had a breakout year for the Pirates, pacing the squad in five of team's seven meets ... Named the Conference USA Male Athlete-of-the-Week for Sept. 27 ... Opened campaign with a 28:18.2 time, and 81st-place showing, at the 8K Covered Bridge Open ... Ran the sixth-best 5K in program history at the Wolfpack Invitational, clocking out in a career-low 15:23.5 to claim 14th place ... Finished second overall at the ECU Pirate Invitational with a time of 15:51.80 to earn C-USA Male Athlete-of-the-Week honor ... Time is the 17th-fastest on the East Carolina record list ... Finished 28th out of 285 runners at the 8K Greater Louisville Classic, completing the race in 25:45.08 ... Placed 63rd at the Panorama Farms Invitational, running the 8K in 26:41.91 ... Turned in career-best 8K of 25:40.0 at the Conference USA Championship to claim 27th overall ... Ended the campaign with a 17:41 performance (39th place) at the 5K 3 Stripe Red-Shirt Invite.

2010: Ran in one race, finishing the 8K Panorama Farms Invitational in 27:46.66 to take 79th place.

High School: Won the 2009 Polish Junior Nationals championship in the 800 meters, finishing in 1:51.06 ... 2009 Indoor Champion of Poland in the 800 meters with a time of 1:53.67 ... Won the 2009 Polish Junior Pre-Nationals in the 800 meters, finishing in 1:50.03 ... Represented Poland in European Junior Championships in 2009 and made it to the semifinals ... At the Junior National Championships U-20 meet in August 2008, took fourth place out of all Polish runners in the 800 meters and was first against runners born in the 1990s ...
