Less than 24 hours after winning in dramatic fashion in the 10th inning, East Carolina (29-16, 10-9) will look to take the series from host Marshall (17-25, 4-12) in game two of the Conference USA series in Charleston, W.Va. at Appalachian Power Park. First pitch was moved up to 5 p.m. (EDT) because of potential rain in the area later in the evening.

The Pirates erased a six-run deficit in the ninth inning scoring five two-out runs to send the game to extra innings Friday night, and won in the 10th on Zach Wright's solo blast to leadoff the frame.

A pair of left-handers will square off Saturday evening when ECU sends Kevin Brandt (5-2, 2.19 ERA) to the hill against Mike Mason (2-3, 4.70 ERA).
