ECU-VCU Game Moved To Tuesday Afternoon At 3 P.M. (EST)
Feb. 24, 2014
GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina's midweek baseball game at Virginia Commonwealth has been moved up a day to Tuesday afternoon due to potential snow in the Richmond, Va. area on Wednesday. First pitch at The Diamond is slated for 3 p.m. (EST).
ECU (3-4) will look to snap a three-game skid, which came over the weekend at top-ranked Virginia, when they square off against former Colonial Athletic Association foe the VCU (6-1). The Pirates lead the all-time series 31-26, but dropped the last two games between the schools coming in 2012.
The Pirates will return to Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium in the first of three-straight home weekends this Friday when they host the 11th Annual Keith LeClair Classic (Feb. 28-Mar. 2). ECU will face off against Western Kentucky (Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.), Pittsburgh (Mar. 1 at 3 p.m.) and Ohio State (Mar. 2 at 2 p.m.).
To order tickets for the LeClair Classic, please visit the Online Ticketing Center or call the Athletic Ticket Office at (252) 737-4500.
