ECU-UCF Series Finale Moved Up To 10 A.M. Start
May 18, 2013
GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina officials have announced that Saturday's Conference USA series finale against UCF has been moved up to a 10 a.m. (ET) start due to potential rain in the area later in the afternoon.
The Pirates (29-24, 13-10) and the Knights (29-25, 13-10) have split the first two games of the regular season finale series and will play the deciding game at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium.
ECU will look to pick up its sixth-straight league series win with a victory on Saturday and could move into a five-way tie for first if both Rice and Southern Miss drop the final games of their weekend series. In that scenario, the Pirates would clinch the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Conference USA Championships, which will be held at Reckling Park in Houston, Texas.
