Player of the Game
Jonate Sherrod scored a career-high 24 points, besting his previous career-high of 23 set against South Dakota State last season. Sherrod scored 18 points in the second half making 5-of-6 field goals, including 2-of-3 3-point attempts. Sherrod sank 6-of-8 free throw attempts after halftime and finished 9-of-12 at the foul line for the game. He also had three assists and no turnovers in 35 minutes of action.

Jontae Sherrod sank a 3-pointer just in front of the ECU bench after Erin Straughn grabbed an offensive rebound and passed it to him while falling out-of-bounds. The basket gave ECU a 55-50 lead with just over 10 minutes left in the game.
