On Tonight's Game
"Playing at home, I was disappointed with our effort defensively. We did not play with a lot of intensity and getting down by nine and coming back takes a lot of energy from you."

"I thought we had a great look at things in the second half. We were getting the ball close to the basket, but it just wouldn't go in."

"We are going to have to be able to make some perimeter shots if we want to effective, and tonight we were not able to do that."

"We kind of lost our composure in overtime, but give SMU a lot of credit because they played very well, made some shots and with their big guy inside kept us from making a lot of shots."

On Shutting Down Bryan Hopkins In The Second Half
"We knew that [Hopkins] was a tremendous shooter and that we would have to force him to put the ball on the floor. In the first half we did not play as tenacious as we needed to, but in the second half we did play harder on defense."

"We expect to shoot better at home and we did not shoot well tonight. We do practice shooting every day, and bad shooting is nobody's fault, but when you are not shooting well there are still other things you can do.
