"The key to the game was turnovers. We just turned the ball over too many times. We equalized it a little bit by playing aggressively, and making them turnover the ball some."

"Richmond plays such an unusual defense. You don't get the usual shot you get out of your offense, whether you run man, or zone offense, it doesn't really matter. They make you make plays, which was reflected through our shooting percentage. I just didn't count on the turnover situation."

"Defensively it took us a little while to adjust to how they were playing, even though we knew what they were going to do. We had great preparation, a great scouting report, but when it is live, it is a whole other deal."

"They are very much a rhythm based offense, and we got them out of their rhythm by changing the defenses, pressing a little bit and playing a little bit of zone, which I thought was very successful."

"The biggest thing we did was that we remembered we had post players. In the first half, we forgot that we had post players. We didn't throw it in there, and some of it had to do with their defense. They really did a good job of pressuring us with the ball. I think their height bothered us too. I thought we made a really nice adjustment after halftime as far as throwing the ball inside."
