Head Coach Mack McCarthy
"I thought Wesleyan was ready to play, but I also thought we were ready. We are still searching for that combination that can get us off to a good start. We did everything different today. I thought our guys responded to the things we did different the past couple of days. I thought Chad [Wynn] stepped up and John [Fields] responded."

"The way we are playing, you are going to have some spurts like that where when we turn it over and they are going to get some easy baskets. Our missed baskets and turnovers really helped their offense. They were doing a great job of making it 3-on-2 and 4-on-3."

"We knew that they were an athletic team. Sometimes, you get Division III schools that aren't very athletic and you can take them off their game. These guys seemed to have a nice combination of skill, quickness and speed and they looked like a really good basketball team."
