East Carolina is 11-5 overall and 2-1 in Conference USA after posting an 89-78 victory over Houston this past Wednesday night. Saturday's game against Marshall will be the first of back-to-back road games for ECU as they travel to UAB on Wednesday.
The game features the league's top two assist distributors: Marshall junior DeAndre Kane and ECU senior Miguel Paul. Kane leads the league with 7.6 assists per game, while Paul is second with 5.7 per contest.

Despite being out-rebounded by 15, ECU was able to overcome the discrepancy by forcing 20 turnovers, which resulted in 24 points for the Pirates.
Marshall scored the final four points of regulation to send the game into overtime.
