East Carolina's basketball membership in Conference USA expired with a second round loss to championship host UTEP, 77-68, in the second rounds of the league's tournament.
The Pirates had four players score in double figures with Akeem Richmond, Paris Roberts-Campbell and Prince Williams netting 14 each. Caleb White had 13.

THINGS TO WATCH FOR
Senior Akeem Richmond needs 12 points to become the third player in ECU's Division I era to score 1,000 in just two seasons. He is also nine 3-pointers shy of tying Stephen Curry's NCAA single season record of 162.
Freshman Caleb White is four points away from the second-most points scored by a rookie in school history. He enters the game with 418 points this year. He needs three 3-pointers to become the fourth ECU freshman to make 50 in a season.
Junior Paris Roberts-Campbell needs three assists to give ECU its first pair of 100 assist distributors. Prince Williams has handed out 120 this season.
This will be the first meeting between East Carolina and Wright State.
ECU was just 2-6 against UNC Wilmington when Wright State Head Coach Billy Donlon played for the Seahawks.
The winner of Tuesday night's first round game will advance to the second round against an opponent to be determined. Round two games of the CIT will be played either March 21 or 22.
