GREENVILLE, N.C. --- Due to code restrictions with the current construction phase of the new multi-million dollar basketball practice facility adjacent to Minges Coliseum, only a limited number of tickets are available for Saturday's CIT semifinal game between East Carolina and Evansville. With a maximum of 5,625 tickets allotted for purchase, fans are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance of the 5 p.m. tip-off.
This will be the Pirates' final home game of the season as the CIT has predetermined that the winner of the Northern Iowa-Weber State semifinal will host the championship game on Tuesday night.
Fans may purchase tickets online through the Online Ticket Center or the ECU Athletics Ticket Office by telephone and in person. The ticket office is located off Berkley Dr., behind Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium and open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Telephone purchases can be made by calling 800-DIAL-ECU (342-5328) or locally at 252-737-4500.
The ticket office will be open Friday, March 29, will special holiday hours of 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Reserved tickets for Saturday's semifinal game are $15 for adults and $10 for youth 17 and under. Season ticket holders have until 5 p.m. Thursday to purchase their same season ticket location.
ECU Student tickets are available for $5 (a limit of one at this rate). Students may pick up their tickets at the Minges Coliseum Box Office on Thursday or at the ECU Athletic Ticket Office on Friday. Additional guest tickets can be purchased for $15.
The Minges Coliseum Box Office will reopen at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
