EAST CAROLINA is an amazing school. I love going to school here. I love playing basketball here. I love everything about East Carolina University.

MY FAMILY is amazing. They are a great support system for me. I'm so blessed to have them in my life. Playing basketball has been a blessing. It's my number one love and I enjoy doing it every day.

I STARTED PLAYING BASKETBALL at the age of three. My dad put a ball in my hands and I would watch him train my older brother. I used to look outside the window and watch them train. I went to my dad and told him that I wanted him to train me the same way.

I'LL NEVER FORGET hitting the winning basket out in Utah for the CIT championship.

HAVING A LOT OF NEW GUYS means that we've had to take things a little slower, but they're showing me a lot. They work extremely hard. I'm really pleased with them and happy to play with them.

AS A SENIOR I love playing here. I feel like I've paid my dues. I've been in college over four years and I'm just enjoying the benefits of being a senior.

I AM A LEADER of this basketball team. I know the young guys are looking up to me and expect me to lead this year. As a team co-captain I have to lead by example. I can't just look out for myself. I've got to look out for my teammates as well.

LEADERSHIP is very important. I can't just look out for myself, I've to make sure everyone is good. If someone is feeling uncomfortable then I need to make them feel more comfortable. It's all about the team.

COACH LEBO HAS helped me progress. He was really hard on me when I first got here. He's become like a father figure to me. He's taught me a lot of things about life not just basketball. He's taught me a lot about basketball but he's taught me a lot of stuff off the court as well.

CUTTING DOWN THE NETS AFTER WINNING THE CIT was amazing. It was something that I always dreamed of as child, watching other guys do it on national television. We were on national television doing it and I was ecstatic about it. I was happy to bring the trophy back to Pirate Nation.

I"M MOTIVATED BY my past experiences. I feel like I've failed a few times in my life and that motivates me.

THE BEST PART OF MY GAME IS my jump shot. I feel that I'm one of the best shooters in the country, but I try not to dwell on that and continue to work hard. Repetition is the key.

ONE THINGS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ECU BASKETBALL IS that we're an up and coming program. We're on our way to greatness. We've got a great practice facility and we're bringing in big time players. There are a lot of good things going on and we're on our way to greatness.

WE WILL BE SUCCESSFUL THIS SEASON IF I come to play every single night and I lead like I'm supposed to. If Petar, Paris and myself do our jobs as captains like we should and we come together as a team we'll have a successful season.
