The Pirates are playing their final home game of the 2012 fall semester Tuesday night.East Carolina is 5-0 at home this season.
ECU and Gardner-Webb share one common non-conference opponent, North Carolina. The Pirates are coming off a 93-87 loss to the Tar Heels on Saturday. The Runnin' Bulldogs opened their season with a 76-59 loss to UNC.
East Carrolina is 18-4 at home aginst non-conference foes under Jeff Lebo, including a 69-55 win over Gardner-Webb last season.
The Pirates will be going for their 10th consecutive non-conference home victory.
ECU has scored over 70 points in all five of its home games this season and allowed over 70 twice. ECU is averaging 80.1 points per game, while Gardner-Webb is averaging 63.8.
The Pirates have won seven of eight games against Division I foes from the state of North Carolina inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum under coach Jeff Lebo.

Senior Maurice Kemp ranks fifth in Conference USA in scoring with 16.5 points per game. He scored double figures in seven of eight games this season and recorded four double-doubles. Kemp has led the Pirates in scoring five times this season.
Junior Akeem Richmond is 10-for-20 behind the arc the last two games. He went 5-for-10 from 3 against St. Andrews and versus North Carolina. Richmond has been the team's leading scorer each of the last two games.
After beginning the season 3-of-17 behind the arc, junior Shamarr Bowden is 9-of-16 from 3 the last four games.
