Hopes to bounce back from a back injury and regain place on offensive depth chart as a junior … Injury forced him out of action during the entire 2014 season before slowly making comeback with limited work during the spring … Initially, blazing speed, agility and quick assignment grasp in Pirates’ offensive scheme allowed for a quick rise on the two-deep as a top reserve at the “Z” outside receiving slot before setback occurred … Originally earned roster position as a walk-on in the fall of 2012 … Could also experience action on various special teams squads if health allows full return … Owned the program’s fastest time in the 40 with a clip of 4.28, while also standing among the leaders in vertical jump (39.5”), broad jump (10’5”) and pro shuttle (3.93) after freshman season … Was not tested in 2015 because of the injury.
2014: Was sidelined during sophomore season because of a back injury … Participated in the first fall scrimmage (Aug. 16), but did not record statistics … Fully diagnosed with injury the following week and was lost for the remainder of the year.
2013: Experienced action in 13 games as a member of the outside receiving corps and special teams unit as a redshirt freshman ... Made collegiate debut in the season opener versus Old Dominion (Aug. 31) on special teams ... Notched first career start against UAB (Nov. 16) ... Caught nine passes for 103 yards (11.4 ypr) with one TD ... All nine receptions occurred in the last six games, with a career-best three against Southern Miss (personal-high 47 yards) and FIU (40 yards) ...
