A patient and talented pass catcher who experienced a rejuvenation of sorts during the spring with the arrival of the new coaching staff ... Played an active role during the spring season in the Pirates' four-receiver set, earning an early nod as top reserve at the "X" position - one of two outside receiver slots in ECU's new offensive scheme ... Maturity and skills could also allow for an impact as a special teams performer ... Hauled in a catch for six yards during the squad's first spring scrimmage (April 3) before recording four receptions for 36 yards and a score during the second matchup April 10 ... Grabbed an 18-yard TD pass from Josh Jordan ... Turned in best performance in the annual Purple-Gold Game, racking up 80 yards and a touchdown on six catches ...
