A tall, sure-handed and assignment-conscious receiver who offers the Pirates plenty of flexibility as either a stand-up inside pass catcher or tight end ... Maturity and rapid acclimation to ECU's offensive scheme should result in a firm depth chart standing at either the "Y" or "H" positions and could allow for an impact-producing campaign as a sophomore ... Joined the ECU program as a walk-on transfer prior to preseason camp in 2012 after opening his collegiate career at Conference USA rival Marshall ... Enjoyed a strong spring, topping all receivers in yardage (93) on five catches during the first scrimmage on April 6 ...
