Re-joined ECU program during the summer after sitting out the entire 2004-05 season (fall, spring drills) ... Immediately impressed new coaching staff with tenacity and quickness, earning a potental starting job at outside linebacker during preseason camp.

2004: Was not a member of the program, instead concentrated on work in the classroom. 2003: Played in all 12 games and made five starts at the wolf linebacker position ... Finished as the team's fourth leading tackler for a second consecutive season with 55 stops ... Recorded a season-best 10 tackles against North Carolina ... Tallied six or more tackles in a game five times ... Intercepted a pass against Southern Miss, the first of his collegiate career.

2002: Made an immediate impact as a redshirt freshman as he started each of his first eight collegiate games at inside linebacker ... Finished as team's fourth-leading tackler with 74 total stops ... Broke ECU record for most sacks in a season by a freshman (four) ... Had six tackles for losses ... Tied for third in Conference USA in forced fumbles with three ...
