A dedicated and hard-working 27-year-old international student-athlete who could finally earn playing time as a senior after two dues-paying seasons competing on ECU's scout team ... Coaches lauded significant development and growth during the spring which resulted in a preseason depth chart position as a top reserve behind All-Conference USA performer Linval Joseph at one of the interior tackle positions ... Still rates as one of the biggest physical players on the Pirate roster despite successful efforts in weight-loss program ... Credited with a tackle in second spring scrimmage (4/8) before ending drills with a three-stop outing during the Purple-Gold Game (4/18) ... One of those hits resulted in a loss of yardage.

2008: Continued to contributed notable service as a member of the scout team ... Did not play in any games with the exception of the Pirates' junior varsity contest against Hargrave Military Academy at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium (10/2) ... Was not credited with any defensive statistics.
