Completed two-year East Carolina career as one of the nation's top quarterbacks from a statistical, productivity and impact standpoint ... Literally re-wrote the school's passing records in just 25 games despite officially arriving on campus only 35 days prior to the season opener in 2010 ... Became the first Pirate signal-caller ever to complete over 700 passes for 7,000 or more yards (program-record 727 completions in 1,103 attempts for 7,192 yards - the latter, a career number which stands fourth among all ECU quarterbacks in history) ... Threw for at least 250 yards on 18 occasions, reached 300 in 13 games, surpassed 350 six times and enjoyed a pair of 400-yard or better performances ... Owns six of the program's top 15 single-game passing performances, which include two of the top three listings ...Passed for 100 yards or more in 22 separate quarters ... Directly accounted for 76 (school-record 62 passing/14 rushing) of the offensive unit's 100 touchdowns during his career ... Threw for at least 200 yards and one touchdown in 14-straight games to open his Pirate career (the longest streak by an ECU quarterback since 1990-91) before having the run snapped against Virginia Tech early during the 2011 campaign ... Tossed at least one TD strike in 23 contests and had three or more scoring throws in 12 outings ... Owns four of the top 10 Pirate passing performances in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium history ... Originally inked with the Pirates and former coach Skip Holtz as a mid-year signee in December, 2009 (from Fort Scott Community College) ... Remained committed to ECU after meeting new head coach Ruffin McNeill for the first time immediately after his hire, but missed the start of the academic semester (which prevented participation in spring drills) ... Competition in Atlantic Coast Conference wars while at Boston College brought a much-needed battle-tested, big-game mindset to a program which had lost a six-year signal-caller the previous season ... Vision, mobility, quickness, passing touch, poise, mental preparation and competitive instincts were all lauded by the coaching staff, but work ethic and leadership skills were most respected by teammates who, on a weekly basis, voted him to serve as team captain in 22 of the 25 contests (10-of-13 in 2010 and 12-of-12 in 2011).
