An athletic, physically strong and mobile performer who used a solid spring to earn a top depth chart standing at the boundary cornerback position heading into his junior year ... Rise on the unit's two-deep follows two campaigns of limited action, mostly on special teams units ... Opened spring scrimmage action with three tackles on April 6 before contributing four stops, which included a sack (-9 yards), the following week ... Knocked down a pass and booked a pair of hits in the Purple-Gold Game on April 20 to close out spring work ... Garnered an "excellent" grade during spring strength and conditioning testing, completing top lifts of 350 pounds (bench press) and a positional-record of 323 in the power clean ... Owns one of the top vertical and broad jumps in the program at 34.0" and 120.5" and has a flexibility score of 12.5 and pro-shuttle time of 4.08, which rank among the top 10 percent as well.
2012: Appeared in four games during sophomore season, experiencing action against North Carolina, UTEP, UAB and Navy ... Logged only tackle on a pass play as a member of the secondary against North Carolina at Kenan Stadium.
2011: Did not experience any game action, but again served as a member of the scout teams.
