Turned in one of the top spring practice performances among all Pirate defenders to earn the early starting nod at one of the inside linebacker positions despite first year on playing roster ... Could face plenty of competition from incoming transfer Joseph Blanks during fall camp, but coaches feel playing time should remain ample ...
