A strong, mobile and fundamentally-sound defender who appears to have regained developmental momentum and is back on a full-speed course after suffering a serious ankle injury during a contest in November of 2011 ... Wrapped up spring drills listed as the top reserve at the "will" outside linebacking slot behind Maurice Falls, but is also expected to battle returning starter Derrell Johnson for top status during the season ... Was on the proverbial fast track, enjoying a quicker rise on defensive two-deep than any other member of the linebacking corps during his first active season before the injury occurred ... Was held to restricted contact during the 2012 spring and a return to normalcy during the fall progressed slower than anticipated ... Opened the 2013 spring scrimmage season with five tackles, three resulting in lost yardage, on April 6 ...
