An expected impact performer in the defensive front seven who has battled through an injury-plagued career at East Carolina … Will try to compete for a spot on the two-deep at one of the outside linebacking positions as a senior … Has missed the last two spring practice periods (lower back in 2014, right shoulder in 2015), which has limited development … Played in only one combined contest as a freshman and sophomore before finally contributing as a defensive reserve and special teams member in 2014 … In all, has experienced action in 13 career games and logged three stops … Although action on the field has been limited, has displayed growth in strength and conditioning program when healthy … Owns a back squat of 605 pounds, a bench press of 365 and a pro shuttle time of 4.55, but has not participated in strength testing during the last two springs because of the aforementioned ailments.
