Head Football Coach Ruffin McNeill Discusses The Start Of Spring Practice

A high-impact performer on the defensive line who potentially could make a quick climb on the unit's two-deep after sitting out the spring practice period because of a left shoulder injury ... Sports medicine personnel indicate full clearance prior to the start of fall camp ... Recorded one of the unit's top times in the 3-cone drill (7.42) during strength and conditioning testing ... Also logged a 4.88 time in the 40 and a 30" vertical leap.

2011: Made contributions on the scout squad during redshirt campaign as a true freshman ... Signed with the Pirates in February.

High School: Played both tight end and defensive end for the Marlins as a senior ... Guided Bayside to a 13-1 record and the Virginia High School League Group AAA Division 6 state semifinals during final campaign ...
