A developing talent whose physical abilities have turned heads during climb up the secondary depth chart in just one full season in the East Carolina program ... Moved from walk-on scout team status to a two-deep standing as a reserve at the boundary cornerback position after spring drills ... Could also play a key special teams role on many units during his first active season ... Knocked down a pass during the first spring scrimmage (March 31) before tallying a tackle in the Purple-Gold Game on April 14 ... One of only nine players to earn a top "super" rating in ECU's strength and conditioning testing period ... In addition to a broad jump of 10'3, which ranked among the top two in the program, turned in a vertical leap 37.6", a 40 time of 4.45 and a power clean of 290 pounds.

Rushed for a county-high 1,612 yards and contributed 20 touchdowns on 222 carries in final season ... Averaged 7.3 yards per attempt during final year at GHS ... Helped the Bobcats to a trio of victories and a spot in the 2010 North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4A playoffs before suffering a 49-21 setback to Ragsdale in the opening round of the tournament ...
