A key contributor for a Cougar program that produced a 9-4 overall record, a 5-2 mark in 4A I-Meck play and a second-round North Carolina High School Athletic Association playoff appearance (after defeating Myers Park 40-17 in the opener) ... Attended Davidson Day School as a junior, collecting 18 tackles and 2.5 sacks in a three-game, injury-shortened season (before bouncing to back to earn a basketball letter during the winter) ...
